We ship all over the world but please note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to some overseas destinations.
Please also note that the shipping rates are calculated on the products weigh and dimensions. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full kilogramme.
The shipping rates for Europe have now been added but if your location is not listed, then please make contact for a shipping quotation.
International shipping rates have also been added, any queries, please make contact.
Be aware that there may be a customs charge on receipt of goods to outside the UK.
To calculate postage costs follow these steps
1) add an item to you cart then click on view or edit cart
2) click the estimate shipping button and fill in your country and postcode then click 'Estimate'
3) you can do this every time you add an item to you basket
4) scroll down the page to see the posting options, choose a posting method then continue
Minimum postage is £2.00. All parcels over 2kg will be posted using a courier
House of Smocking should also be notified upon receipt of any item received in a unsatisfactory state and if this should happen then the item should be returned within 7 days in the original packaging.
Refunds will only be given for items returned if they were faulty.
No refunds can be given on any cut to order item like Fabric or Lace, Patterns and Smocking Needles
Unfortunately no refund of the original postage costs will be made.
House of Smocking should be notified immediately of any item that is not received within 5 working days for the UK, 10 days for Europe and 21 days for international orders.
You may receive a refund for unopened items within 30 days of delivery if you received an incorrect item.
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).
