    • Silver Smocking Transfer Dots - one sheet per pack
  • Deighton's Silver Smocking Transfer dots yellow would be best for dark coloured fabrics, They may be difficult to see on heavily patterned fabric, better to print onto a strip of white cotton lawn and then pick up the dots through the lawn and your own fabric, One sheet in each pack, save money when buying more than one sheet,
How to use Transfer Dots:
Place the transfer over the wrong side of the material, being careful to put it on accurately and leaving space for a seam. Iron off the dots, using a moderately hot iron , if the dots do not iron off then run your iron over the sheet again. Will not transfer well on fabrics with a cut spot unless you remove the cut spot because of the uneven surface ,
See video on how to use these dots
Do not iron off more rows than required as they are not designed to wash off
Iron on Smocking Dots – another way to use them

Did you know, once you cut off the number of rows you need, you can pin the dots to your fabric and pick up each dot through the tissue then tear away the tissue once you have picked up all the rows.

Don’t forget to put a knot on the end of the thread, so you don’t pull it out as you go.

      Smocking dots

Difficult to get all the dots to transfer Reply - Sorry to here this, some fabrics if they have a manmade element can mean you have to go over the dots a second time or if the fabric is very patterned ie Liberty, then the dots transfer but you just cannot see them in the pattern.
