Most suited for the home smocker with 24 full space rows and half spaces for the full length of the rod. Use for pleating fabric for Dresses, Puffing, Trims and so much more Pleat up to 24 full space rows, fabric can be any width and length, maximum of 24 full or 48 half space rows in one go, see the video for more help.     Pleat up all your Christmas ornaments, cushions and hangers in minutes 

    Main difference between the Princess and the Read Maxi is that the Read Maxi has quick release pins

    to remove the roller for changing the needles

    The Princess Smocking Pleater has two locking nuts that you turn with the wooden dowel supplied.

    I have been using this machine for quite some time and love the smooth action of the rollers.

    If you have larger hands then there is also more space under the needles on the Princess than the Read Maxi
